Mom went to the operating room around noon on Friday, April 9, 2021.

She didn't return to her room for about 5 1/2 hours, but the actual surgery lasted about 90 minutes.

Since every crisis needs humor to be used as a coping mechanism in our family, I'll share what took place while mom was in surgery in my next post.
